Overview
Pressure washing, or power washing, is a cleaning method that employs the use of a high-pressure water spray to eliminate dirt, grime, mould, mildew, mud, and other dirt from surfaces. It generally consists of a motor or pump that drives a concentrated spray of water under pressure from a garden hose to generate a high-pressure stream. The pressure of the water can be adjusted based on the surface being cleaned and the level of cleaning needed.
Pressure washing is commonly used for cleaning a variety of outdoor surfaces, including:
Exterior walls
Pressure washing can effectively remove dirt, dust, and stains from exterior walls made of materials such as brick, concrete, stucco, or siding.
Decks and patios
Pressure washing is an efficient way to clean wooden decks, stone patios, and concrete surfaces, restoring them to their original appearance and removing algae, mildew, and grime buildup.
Driveways and sidewalks
Pressure washing can quickly remove oil stains, dirt, and debris from driveways, sidewalks, and pathways, improving their appearance and reducing slip hazards.
Fences and gates
Pressure washing can remove dirt, mold, and mildew from wooden, vinyl, or metal fences and gates, restoring their appearance and prolonging their lifespan.
